By now, you’ve heard words describing 2020 over and over again. Challenging. Unprecedented. A new normal. Global pandemic.
As our team reflects on 2020, we choose to emphasize the word “thankful.” Thankful for the transition to small-group events that enabled 1,341 volunteers of all ages to safely participate in packaging sessions. Thankful for the 316,488 Nutri-Plenty servings created throughout the year despite a limited event schedule. Thankful for the 607,834 nutritious meals that were delivered to children and families in eight countries, including 100,000 meals to agencies throughout Kentuckiana and the United States. Thankful for the individual donors and community organizations that entrust us with their dollars to multiply the meals.
As the new year begins, we’re committed to evaluating the changing circumstances that surround us and to making the adjustments that will enable an even greater level of participation in the mission to deliver nourishment and hope to those vulnerable to hunger. We can’t delay. Please join us.Read More
